# Seneca Social Innovation Research Fund (SIRF)

## Apply for the Seneca Social Innovation Research Fund \(SIRF\)

**Purpose**

Supports emerging social innovation applied research activities at Seneca. Designed to strengthen networks among students, faculty, staff and external partners.

**Scale**

$15,000 grant \(up to one year\)

**Partner Contribution**

- SIRF Only Stream: in-kind contributions in all cases; for-profit businesses must also make a 10 per cent \($1,500\) cash contribution
- SIRF + Mitacs Accelerate Stream: $7,500 cash plus in-kind contributions
