*Sustainability \(SUS\)*is the integration of environmental health, social equity, cultural vitality and economic responsibility to create and maintain thriving, diverse, resilient communities for this generation and those to come \([Seneca Sustainability Plan](https://www.senecapolytechnic.ca/content/dam/projects/seneca/about/sustainability/documents/seneca-sustainability-plan.pdf), 2021\).

Teaching sustainability allows educators to bring the real world into our courses. Every subject matter is connected to sustainability. Let’s engage students in these connections.
