The impact of technology and globalization on the employment environment has been significant. Today’s graduates will increasingly have non-linear careers, demanding that they are equipped to successfully seek and secure jobs in their sector. In Career Services, our goal is to set up our students with career management strategies for a lifetime of career success.

The quality of our graduates speaks for itself, as demonstrated by our 92% employer satisfaction rate. With more than 16,000 companies currently listed in our database, last year alone we had over 7,000 jobs posted in our online job posting site SenecaWorks. Part-time and on-campus jobs are also available here.

From career planning to social media career skills, Career Services staff are an invaluable resource to students, alumni, and faculty. Last year, Career Services staff provided close to 2,000 students with individual one-on-one advisement and saw another 2,000 students in on-campus workshops. We hosted 42 job fairs and events with over 5,000 students attending. Visit us online to see all the events, resources, and services available to help students reach their career goals. See our calendar of events for King, Markham, Newnham, and Seneca@York campuses.

Career Services Co-ordinators are available to provide faculty with career development materials and services to support classroom activities. We offer in-class presentations on a range of topics and can assist with industry networking or employer on-site visits. Discuss your specific needs with us.

By working together, we support the smooth transition of our students from school to a lifetime of career success.
