Changes to Your My.Seneca Default Course Menu

Last semester, a subcommittee of the was formed to review the My.Seneca default course menu. The subcommittee’s goal was to research and recommend updates that would improve student access to support services and key course information. The changes outlined below, endorsed by the Academic College Council, will apply to new courses beginning Fall 2017 and onward.

Menu Changes:

  • New default menu coloursA screen capture of the new course menu in My.Seneca
    • Seneca Red background with white text
  • My Grades menu item added
    • A tool link so students can check their grades
  • Discussion menu item removed
    • You can still add discussion as a tool link – see for instructions on how to create a Tool link
  • New Seneca Resources menu item
    • Links directly to a prepopulated content page
