Seneca students have suddenly found themselves learning online. Some are able to adapt and others are finding themselves a little lost – not sure where to start.

The Seneca Learning Centres and Libraries in collaboration with The Learning Portal team created an online resource for students on Learning Online to give them that place to start. This hub features resources to help students stay motivated, navigate technology, and study smart.

Students can assess themselves using an online readiness tool which allows them to see where they need the most support and to get the appropriate resources. Its easily navigable modules equipped with useful tips, how-to videos, and learning strategies allow students to quickly find the resources they need as well as hone in on the skills they need to develop in a straightforward manner.

This resource links to the Learning Online at Seneca website which features more details about where students can support at Seneca while learning online. Topics include Supports at Seneca, Taking Online Classes, and Academic Integrity Matters.

This resource has cartridges that can be embedded into a My.Seneca course to make it available to Seneca students.

For more information about this resource, contact Kathryn McMillan, Manager, Learning Centres.
