Last semester, Seneca launched its website. It is designed to provide both students and faculty with supports, resources, and information.
The new Academic Integrity Policy training module for faculty is now available on the faculty and instructor information page. This is a self-paced online training module will help faculty and instructors increase their awareness of academic integrity and assist with upholding the academic integrity policy. The module will take between 30 and 60 minutes, and upon completion, participants are eligible to claim Seneca’s Academic Integrity Policy badge.
To support the academic integrity policy, the Teaching & Learning Centre and Seneca Libraries are offering a Promoting a Culture of Academic Integrity course. This face-to-face course will focus on the strategies that you can use to make cheating/plagiarism less worthwhile to the student as well as improve student learning. This course will also discuss creating classroom environments that support ethical choices, activities that promote awareness of what is and isn’t an academic integrity offence, and assignments designed to reduce academic integrity offences.
