This spring, Seneca will host Advancing Learning 2021, Ontario’s premiere annual educational technology conference. Over three exciting days, educators, instructional designers, and multimedia enthusiasts from colleges and universities across the province will explore the latest educational technology trends, experiment with new skills, and foster their creativity to deepen and enhance student learning. The theme of this year's event is "Dare to be Curious.”
The free virtual activities begin on June 8 with the Technology Takedown – a one-day cooperative competition where teams flex their technology muscles to complete a design challenge and win great prizes. June 9 and 10 feature daily keynote speakers, presentations, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and an experiential Tech Crawl showcasing the latest ed tech innovations. Networking opportunities, a vendor forum, and social activities round out the fun on each day. More details including session descriptions and registration information will be provided in the coming months. Please visit https://advancinglearning.ca/ for the latest updates.
Keen to get involved? Do you have an educational technology story, skill, or example you would like to present? The call for proposals is open now. Please visit this link and submit your innovative ideas and expertise. The deadline for proposal submissions is Monday, April 19, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. EDT.
