The purpose of this policy is to maintain a high standard of academic integrity across the Seneca community and provide the foundation for research, teaching, learning and working practices. This policy applies to all members of the Seneca community. Please familiarize yourself with Seneca’s Academic Integrity Policy.

Faculty are strongly encouraged to complete the Promoting a Culture of Academic Integrity course through the Teaching and Learning Centre, as well as complete the Academic Integrity Policy Module to get your Academic Integrity Policy badge. 

Academic Integrity Tips/Resources:

• Faculty are strongly encouraged to have students submit all written work through Safe Assign, our plagiarism prevention software.
• Safe Assign should appear in the Tools sections of your Learn@Seneca. 
• Resources for students including, Integrity in Action badge.
• Consider designing authentic assessments for your online courses. Information on authentic assessments can be found here.
