When administering an online test, consider the following to promote honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility and courage:

• Assessment: Consider if using a test is the best way to assess the student within an online environment. Do Authentic Assessments make more sense? 
• Authenticity: Consider creating questions based off of discussions or activities during class or the student's experiences.
• Question pool: Consider using pools of questions of similar difficulty using a question bank (Generating a Question Bank from a Learn@Seneca Blackboard Ultra Document | Blackboard Ultra | Seneca Polytechnic). 
• Promote online integrity: Consider sharing and reviewing how to Promoting Academic Integrity Online with your students.
