Call for Proposals

Submission Deadline: May 24, 2024 

Join us on June 25 for our annual PRME Applied Research Conference 2024 (PARCON), dedicated to highlighting how innovation within the business sector can significantly contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year’s theme, Driving Sustainable Change through Business Innovation, showcases the role innovation plays within the business sector in addressing the Sustainable Development Goals. We invite research presentations and best practices applying innovative business approaches to achieve an economically viable, socially inclusive, and/or environmentally regenerative business or initiative.

The conference invites abstract submissions in five major themes:

  • Social entrepreneurship
  • Circular economy initiatives
  • Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Impact investing
  • Measurement and reporting

 

Conference Details

  • Location: Seneca Polytechnic, Newnham Campus
  • Date: 25 June 2024, Tuesday
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (TBC)

The conference will be in-person and online (live).

 

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline (Abstract & Authors list): May 24, 2024
  • Selection confirmation: June 3, 2024
  • Presentation/deck submission deadline: June 15, 2024
  • Agenda/Notification: TBD

Format and Submission Instructions

 

  • Ensure that abstracts are concise yet comprehensive (200-400 words) and are accompanied by a selection of 5 pertinent keywords.
  • Presenters will have an opportunity to share their findings during the panel discussion (15-30 minutes).
  • Each submission must include a professional biography of all the contributors; please note that a paper is not required.
  • Uphold originality in submitted abstracts; in alignment with the Seneca Polytechnic’s Academic Integrity Policy
