Copying a Test

You can transfer an assessment (i.e. test, quiz, discussions, folders, modules...etc) from a course and place it into a new course. Before you can transfer an assessment, you must identify the destination course.

You can copy the following content types:

  • Folders
  • Documents
  • Tests, including group tests
  • Assignments, including group assignments
  • Links to websites
  • SCORM packages
  • Discussions and journals

Note: Transferring content from Blackboard Original to Blackboard Ultra may result in formatting or data loss. Double check transferred content, and make adjustments or recreate the content if necessary.

Transferring Content From Other Courses

  1. Navigate to the course you want to copy the test into.
  2. Select the ellipses. Drop-down is displayed.
  3. Select Copy Items. The Copy Items panel is displayed.
  4. Select the course you want to transfer the content from. Note: Hidden courses will not show up in the Copy Content panel.
  5. Navigate to the content. Note: Select the arrow icon to select specific items within a folder or module.
