Adding VoiceThread Assignment | Blackboard Ultra | Seneca Polytechnic

VoiceThread is an approved and licensed tool at Seneca.

Create a graded assignment for students to complete. You can require them to create a VoiceThread of their own to submit, to comment on a VoiceThread you’ve created, or simply to watch a VoiceThread start to finish.

To access the "Assignment Builder" option, follow the steps below.

1. You have to create the VoiceThread assignment link first by selecting the Plus Icon and select Content Market.

   

2. Scroll down the "Content Market" page and locate "VoiceThread" from the menu.

   

3. Select the plus icon (+) and the VoiceThread assignment link will be created

4. Select the ellipsis to the right of the VoiceThread assignment link

5. Select Edit
   

6. The VoiceThread settings page displays - check off "Create gradebook entry for this item" and select Save.
7. Select the VoiceThread assignment link now.
   
8. The "Launch LTI Link" page displays - select "Launch" and the "VT Choose an activity type" will display.  The "Assignment Builder" option is now available.
