Embedding Content with HTML

Embedding is the process of integrating content. You can embed content from YouTube, Padlet, H5P, and other sites that have "embed codes," or a block of HTML that renders a visual element from another site. 

Note: HTML object cannot be added to assessments or tools.


Embedding HTML Code

  2. Select the ellipsis next to the file name. The drop-down menu is displayed.Screenshot of step 2 on Embedding HTML Code as explained on this page
  3. Select Edit from the drop-down menu. Screenshot of step 3 on Embedding HTML Code as explained on this page
  4. Select Add HTML. Note: This feature is visible when you first open a document, or when you select the plus icon (+) to create a new block in the document.

  5. Paste the embedded HTML code into the text editor.

  6. Select Save. The interactive object is displayed in the document.

Note: Many activities will provide an embed code for you to use. These can often be found by selecting a share button on the activity.
