Enabling SafeAssign for Assessments

SafeAssign is a teaching tool that can help your students produce original work. After an Assessment is processed by SafeAssign, an originality report is generated detailing how much of the content in the submitted Assessment matches existing sources. 

Enabling SafeAssign in Assessments

  1. Select the Assessment you want to enable SafeAssign. The Assessment page is displayed.

  2. Select the gear icon. The Assessment Settings panel is displayed. 
  3. Select Enable SafeAssign. Originality Report panel is displayed. 

  4. Select Enable SafeAssign.

  5. Optional: Select Allow students to view the SafeAssign Originality Report for their attempts or Exclude submissions from the institutional and Global Reference Databases.

  6. Select Save. SafeAssign is enabled.
