Adding a Course Banner

Adding a banner to your course is a great way to add visual flare.  

Adding a Course Banner

  1. Select Edit display settings from the Details & Actions pane. Course Image panel is displayed. 

  2. Select the Image icon.

    1. Choose Upload from Device. Note: Image must be at least 1200 x 240 pixels. Images with text don’t scale well.

    2. Choose Stock images from Unsplash. Note: If you want to learn more about this option then check out Choosing a Course Image (Banner).

  3. Complete one of the following actions:

    • If the image is decorative, select Mark as decorative. Content marked as decorative won't provide descriptions to screen readers.

    • If the image is informative, input the description of the image into the Alternative text box.

  4. Toggle the Course Banner on/off to display or hide the course image.

  5. Select Save.
