Importing a Course Package | Blackboard Ultra | Seneca Polytechnic

Importing content from a previous course export is one of the fastest ways to set up a new course. You can only import a .zip or IMSCC file. Once a course package is imported, all the assignments, content, and settings will be available in your course shell. From there you can alter the imported content to fit your course.

Importing Course Content Packages

Course content packages are setup as zip files.

1. Select Content from the top menu bar.  
   

2. Select the ellipsis located at the top-right corner. A drop-down menu is displayed.
   

3. Select Import Content from the drop-down menu. The Import Content panel is displayed.
   

4. Select Import Course Content. 
   

5. Select the file you want to import from your computer, and then select Open. Note: It may take a few minutes to import the package. A notification will appear upon a successful/failed import.
