Update: Impact of labour action at Seneca Polytechnic | Registered International Agents

Dear agency partners,

We hope this message finds you well during the start of the busy recruitment season.

As you may know, there is labour action currently taking place among full-time support staff at polytechnics and colleges across Ontario. Faculty, part-time employees and administrators continue to work, and classes are continuing with minimal disruption.

However, some Seneca administrative services have been impacted by the reduced workforce, including admissions, registration and enrolment data collection.  

As a result, agent commissions will be delayed by approximately two-to-four weeks from the current schedule of October 6 to 24. Also, application processing may take longer than usual, but we are working to add resources to support intake.  

Seneca’s dedicated team is doing everything possible to mitigate these circumstances and lessen delays. We are grateful for your patience and thank you for understanding.
