Details about the Retiree and 25-Year Employee Celebration

Please join us on Thursday, May 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. as we proudly celebrate Seneca Polytechnic employees who retired over the past year, as well as employees who reached 25 years of service in 2025.

Who is being honoured at the celebration?

Employees retiring between June 2025 to August 2026 and employees who completed 25 years of service in 2025 will be honoured. See the complete list of honourees.

Who is invited to the celebration?

As this is a Seneca-wide celebration in place of the events that individual schools and departments used to host, all employees are invited to celebrate their colleagues.

How can I confirm my attendance? 

Please register through the link in your emailed invitation by Thursday, May 21.

What is the recommended dress code?

Business or business casual.

What is the format of the event?

The event will consist of a reception with food and beverages, along with mingling and celebratory remarks by President David Agnew. There will be a small gift for retirees and a pin for 25-year employees.

What should I do if I need special accommodations?

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, honourees are welcome to bring a guest. Please register your guest by using the link in your invitation.

If I’m not able to attend, how will I receive my gift as a retiree or pin as a 25-year employee?

A member of the Seneca Events team will reach out to arrange the pickup of the gift.
