Attention!!! AI Bootcamps for Faculty are coming!

If you haven’t heard, Seneca has entered a partnership with Microsoft. This means many things, but one thing is for sure – The Teaching & Learning Centre is now certified to run Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) AI Bootcamps.

What is an MSLE AI Bootcamp?

These interactive workshops are ideal for Seneca faculty and instructors who are relatively new to AI and would like to learn the basics of how to use AI effectively and safely in their own teaching practice.

On the MSLE website, four different bootcamps are offered (with a 5th one in the works). Seneca will be running two of these bootcamps in June:

  1. Microsoft Copilot Prompt-a-thon for Higher Education
  2. Generative AI for Teaching

Each workshop will last approximately 5 hours (being split over two days).

Microsoft Copilot Prompt-a-thon for Higher Education

This 5-hour workshop is designed to help faculty build AI fluency and literacy and understand the benefits of AI adoption in the context of their courses.

part I: Tuesday, June 2nd from 9:50 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. Eastern (online)
part II: Tuesday, June 9th from 9:50 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. Eastern (online)
