Come and learn all about Open Education Resources (OERs) and their use at Seneca Polytechnic! Open Educational Resources are learning, teaching and/or research materials that are freely available in the public domain or are under an open license (such as creative commons licenses), that permit no-cost access, re-use, re-purpose, adaptation, and redistribution by others. This session will introduce you to OERs, provide details on the OER grants that are available through the Teaching & Learning Centre to adapt or revise an OER, and provide information on the many support services that are available for OER development at Seneca.
