Most Schools provide a template to be used to create addenda.  Ask your school Chair or Support Officer.  In addition to basic contact information, you will need a plan for how you will organize topics into the semester schedule so that students can achieve course learning outcomes.  Some topics may take multiple weeks, and/or you may be able to complete multiple smaller topics in one week.  As the subject expert,  you have some decisions to make.  When creating your weekly schedule, be sure to pay attention to the academic calendar – the calendar provides information on holidays, study break, and exam week.

If you need help creating an addendum, or have any questions, you can contact the   or contact your Chair.

Note that some courses have multiple or numerous sections with different faculty teaching.  To ensure consistency, these courses often have a prescribed addendum to which professors only need add their contact information and office hours.
