Keynote Presentation: Education in the post-pandemic world: Re-imagining the role of technology, innovation, and creativity
Facilitated by Richard Booth, RN, MScN, PhDAssociate Professor, Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing, Western University
The significant global disruption caused by SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and the increasing digitalization of education over the last few decades has generated opportunities for faculty/educators to re-imagine the future of education. To do this, education will need to explore societal-level advancements in technology witnessed before and during the pandemic, and meaningfully leverage advantageous processes and innovations within pedagogy. As part of this presentation, a reflection on technology-enabled learning will be conducted, along with a re-imagining what education could look like in a post-pandemic world.
Recorded at the Advancing Learning Conference on June 9, 2021.
