A team of Seneca Polytechnic students has been recognized nationally, earning third place at the NextGen Insurance Case Competition.

Held in Calgary this past March, the competition brought together student teams from across Canada to tackle a complex, real-world insurance case. Seneca’s team—Susan Shan-Shan Choi, Francine Joseph, Seowon Kim and Andrei Maci—represented both the Business Insurance (BIN) and Financial Planning (FIP) programs, advancing to the final round and placing among the top three in the country.

Under the mentorship of Professor Warren Ting, the team’s achievement was recently featured in Canadian Underwriter, a leading publication in Canada’s insurance industry.

Congratulation to the entire Seneca team!
