Seneca Downtown has a new location and a new focus! | Faculty of Continuing Education and Training | Seneca Polytechnic

Seneca’s campus in downtown Toronto is even closer to the heart of the action.

This teaching, learning and collaboration space has moved to 18 King St E — right at Toronto’s business epicentre.

The new Seneca Downtown provides learners flexible classrooms, private meeting rooms and two boardrooms. Eventually, it will also serve as an alternative work location for Seneca employees. Currently, classes in UX writing and government relations are being offered at Seneca Downtown using flexible learning technology.

Seneca Downtown will be home to the Centre for Executive & Professional Learning (CEPL). The centre will provide various options for professional learning, including a new suite of executive certificate programs designed for aspiring senior leaders.

“We are thrilled to support aspiring executives, senior managers, and professional learners seeking industry designation through the Centre for Executive & Professional Learning,” said Kiley Bolton, Director, Centre for Executive & Professional Learning. “The breadth of program options provides a great foundation for executive-level leadership development. Participants will learn from industry leaders, who will prepare them to reach the next level in their careers.”

Seneca’s approach to executive-level learning focuses on flexible delivery, responsiveness to labour market needs and expertise from faculty and guest lecturers, who bring current industry insights and knowledge into the classroom.

CEPL programs are designed to attract aspiring executives, senior managers and professionals seeking new industry designations. Programs will be made available in person and virtually, providing convenient learning opportunities in senior leadership, government relations and anti-money laundering governance, with more options to follow.

The first series of CEPL programs are scheduled to begin in September 2022.
