FCET Staff & Faculty - Welcome Back Event - Tuesday, September 6 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Newnham Campus CITE Building, Room K2100. Registration Required.

The Welcome Back will give everyone an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and to meet and welcome new members to the department; for many, it will be a return to campus after being away for a long time.

The event will include a special keynote speaker, Michelle R. Weise, the author of Long Life Learning*. Michelle will take us through an enlightening and informative look at the realities of the current and future world of work in the context of part-time learning and continuing education. She will discuss important and timely topics such as short-cycle training, quick-skilling, the importance of industry integration with education, and how continuous learning will shape the future of work.

Following the presentation sessions, FCET staff and Faculty are invited to a dinner served by a variety of food trucks outside in the cafeteria courtyard.

Please follow this link to confirm your attendance at the September 6 FCET Welcome Back by Tuesday, August 30

You are also encouraged to take advantage of this on-campus day and arrive in advance to prepare your Newnham workspace for the upcoming hoteling changes that are planned for our FCET offices. Free parking for those attending the Welcome Back will be available.

A reminder that as per our current safety protocols on campus, you’ll need to be vaccinated and wear a mask in the CITE classroom space.

Please watch for a confirmation email closer to the date of the event - it will include additional details as well as the join link for virtual attendance.
