Creative Writing Faculty Makes Peotry Prize Longlist

🙌 We are #SenecaProud of Part-Time Studies faculty, Ashleigh Allen, for being one of 32 writers from across Canada to make the longlist for the 2023 CBC Poetry Prize. The longlist was selected from more than 2,400 submissions.

Ashleigh teaches EAC384 Creative Writing, and has also taught EAC273 Introduction to Children’s Literature and COM101 Communicating Across Contexts with Part-Time Studies. She holds a BAH from Queen's University; an MFA in poetry from The New School; an MA in education from Teachers College, Columbia University; and is currently a PhD candidate (ABD) in Curriculum & Pedagogy at OISE, University of Toronto.
