The Campus Experience team was created in November 2022 to enhance the student and employee experience on campus and coordinate the work formerly done by the campus principals across all of Seneca's locations. We work closely with the SSF, campus services and facilities, academic areas, student services, customer support, ITS, capital projects and other areas to provide excellent learning and working spaces and a warm welcome on campus.
The department develops initiatives that foster a positive experience for all those who study and work at Seneca and contribute to its success. We also foster an environment of collaboration and a strong service excellence culture.
Located at King, Markham, Newnham and Seneca@York, Campus Experience Student Ambassadors serve as the first point of contact when students, staff, and visitors arrive on campus providing a smile and “hello”.
Recruitment is currently taking place for a Manager, Campus Experience – Employees. Included in their responsibilities will be overseeing the various hotelling workspaces for employees and employee engagement.
