FLPA opportunities to Japan and Ireland!

There are two exciting new Faculty of Arts Faculty-Led Programs Abroad (FLPA) that students may enroll in for the Summer 2024 term! As part of the course requirement student and faculty will spend 2 weeks abroad in either Japan or Ireland getting a first hand look at subjects explored in the classroom.

FLPA to Japan
Students will spend two weeks in Japan learning about anime and fandom culture right where it all began!

Any full-time student enrolled in a degree program requiring a lower-level LSO credit with a minimum program GPA of 2.5 is eligible to enroll. Open to domestic and international students.

Classes before and after the trip will be held at Seneca. Trip will take place June 17 - June 30, 2024. Upon completion of the FLPA students will earn the Seneca Course Credit LSO203: Anime and Fandom Around the World.

FLPA to Ireland 
Students will spend two weeks in Ireland learning about Irish music, history and culture while visiting musical sites of the region!

Any full-time student enrolled in a diploma/advanced diploma program requiring a GenEd credit with a minimum program GPA of 2.5 is eligible to enroll. Open to domestic and international students.

Classes before and after the trip will be held at Seneca. Trip will take place June 10 - June 21, 2024. Upon completion of the FLPA students will earn the Seneca Course Credit CUL199 - General Education credit (Arts and Humanities)
