Applied Research
Seneca utilizes Applied Research, Case Building, Modes of Delivery, Experiential Learning and Internationalization in our programs and courses in order to provide our students with the best learning experiences.
At Seneca, we know that Applied Research is relevant to industry and our applied research is driven by faculty and focused on students. Seneca Applied Research is a point of access for industry and/or community partners who wish to engage in economically, socially and educationally relevant collaborative applied research projects with Seneca faculty and students. Case Building
Through Case Building, Seneca invites our most successful alumni to share their cases, short stories, of real decisions within organizations. Case building helps students become better problem solvers and brings real life into the classroom. For more information, please visit the Case Development Centre webpage.
Modes of Delivery
Seneca is excited to offer more flexible learning options than ever before. Seneca has four formats: online, in person, hybrid* (a mix of online and in-person), and flexible (delivered both online/in person and students can choose how to access the content). Global Learning Opportunities at Seneca
01. FLPA: A course or part of it is taught overseas. Faculty designs and leads the learning.
02. COIL: Two faculty collaborate to develop a virtual exchange module offering students accessible international learning
03. Academic Exchange: Seneca students travel to obtain academic credit and international learning experience.
04. Visiting Scholars: International opportunities for faculty within teaching or research capacity.
