United Against Poverty

Poverty stares our communities in the face daily.

• Food insecurity has been exacerbated.
• 1 in 4 families in the GTA live in poverty.
• The housing crisis continues to rise.

 There is only one way forward – together.

Join us for some fun and games, and to raise funds to help build a better, stronger GTA for everyone who lives here.

When: Thursday October 27, 2022 

Time: 4p.m. to 6p.m.

Location: Muddy York Brewing Co. 22 Cranfield Rd Toronto, On M4B 3H1

Details: Raffle tickets will be available on-site: $10 per arm length and payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, or Debit at the event.

The pandemic has made the issues at the root of poverty in the GTA unignorable—and it hasn’t affected everyone equally. Those who were struggling before the pandemic are now also having to navigate a worsening chasm of injustice, discrimination, and growing inequality. COVID-19 is exacerbating the inequities that divide our community and pushing people further into precarity. So, we need your help! The vital work United Way does, alongside partners and resident leaders, would not be possible without donors who want to bridge the gaps in our social safety net, and unite under a worthy cause.
