On Monday, November 13, Seneca held Opening Ceremonies for Transgender Awareness Week to raise visibility for two-spirit, transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse peoples. This week is an opportunity to consider what we know about the barriers’ individuals from this intersectional community face. With this in mind, we encourage you to reflect on the following questions:

  • Where might two-spirit, transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse people face barriers with the program or course you are reviewing?
  • Where might there be an opportunity for us to build community with those who identify as two-spirit, transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse peoples?

Looking for support? Feel free to reach out to the CI team at any time by emailing teaching@senecacollege.ca.
