The Learning Centres are here to support our students academically. We offer services in both foundational skills and foundational course support.
A Seneca student can access our group study sessions, workshops, and peer tutoring at no extra cost to them. We also have a large number of other online resources available to help them do their very best. We have linked these below for your information.
On this space, we are also providing faculty with resources/packages that can be uploaded to their BlackBoard course areas. We hope this helps!Have questions? Please reach out to a Learning Centre coordinator. We are here to help!
Supported Learning Groups (SLGs) are aligned with high-risk for failure courses at Seneca Polytechnic. SLGs are regularly scheduled study sessions that are facilitated by a student leader. These sessions are embedded into BlackBoard. Students can attend any or as many sessions as they like. Participation is voluntary.
These packages are zip files that you can add to your Learn@Seneca (Blackboard) courses. They create a content area in your course. Many contain a link to a tutorial and a quiz for students.
