How branding to Seneca Polytechnic impacts ITS

Earlier this year, Seneca’s new Strategic Plan - The Next introduced an exciting new brand identity for Seneca as Seneca Polytechnic. The next phase of this journey is our domain change to senecapolytechnic.ca.

When this is happening

As part of our technology rebranding efforts, a series of technology updates have already started with completion expected before Dec. 24. Seneca's ITS applications and systems will undergo maintenance during the holiday break, starting on Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. with completion expected before Dec. 24. We appreciate your patience during this period as students and employees will experience technology disruptions. Please refer to the schedule of changes for more information.

ITS impacts

• Anyone with a senecacollege.ca email or user ID, and those who use applications or systems linked to our domain, will experience the impacts of these updates. 
• Student emails and user IDs will not be impacted (@myseneca.ca).
• The updates taking place will impact our email addresses, laptop configuration, single sign-on (SSO), user IDs, websites and applications, and other applications.
• Additional resources are available to help employees prepare for the transition: checklist, FAQ and webinar.
