Theme: Conference Opening & Artificial Intelligence

  • Opening keynote by Dr. Cory Scurr
    Dr. Cory Scurr is the Chair of the Academic Integrity Council of Ontario (AICO) and the Associate Director, Academic Advising & Academic Integrity at Conestoga College. His research interests include faculty barriers and the role of emotion when navigating academic misconduct as well as examining the nexus of artificial intelligence and academic integrity to inform assessment design.

  • Closing Keynote by Dr. Joseph Kim
    Dr. Joe Kim is an Associate Professor in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster University and is actively involved in the science of teaching and learning. He coordinates the innovative MacIntroPsych program (macintropsych.com), directs the Education and Cognition Lab (edcog.ca) and organizes the annual McMaster Symposium on Education & Cognition (edcog.mcmaster.ca). His research interests include multimedia learning principles and evidence-based approaches to education and training.

  • Hands-on workshops, including online proctoring, teaching in Flex, classroom technologies
