On February 28th, 2022, we will be holding our Winter 2022 edition of the Teaching & Learning Day. This is a Humber-Seneca Polytechnic Partnership (HSPP) event, and the focus is on educational technology. The Teaching & Learning Centre has planned a full day of exciting opportunities to learn, discuss, and share with colleagues at both Seneca and Humber.

Conference Highlights

We have put together a diverse program with educational and technological experts who present on a broad range of critical and current topics for today’s teaching and learning.

Get inspired by our joint presentation from Radha Krishnan, Vice-President, Information Services at Seneca and Scott Briggs, Vice-President, Digital Innovation and CIO at Humber with an update on the latest innovations and accomplishments at their respective institutions.

Participants can select two morning workshops practices to attend from a variety of topics on new and innovative practices: digital storytelling, online assessments, virtual simulations, micro-credentials, accessibility tools, artificial intelligence, and Hyflex (Flexible) teaching.

A Virtual Learning Strategy (VLS) Showcase will take place in the afternoon highlighting completed projects funded by eCampusOntario designed to expand and build capacity for virtual learning.

Following the Showcase, participants can take part in more collaborative explorations of new technologies with a hands-on two-hour workshop on one of the following topics: H5P, video development, Adobe XD, OERs, Adobe Creative Cloud Express, and UDL.
