🌟 Nominations Now Open! 🌟

Exceptional teaching transforms lives. Faculty members play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, inspiring their peers, and fostering innovative practices. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that the nomination period is now open for Seneca’s Teaching and Learning Awards for Faculty for 2023-2024. These awards recognize outstanding contributions to teaching and learning, and we invite you to recognize and celebrate the exceptional contributions of your colleagues.

There are two peer-nominated awards: the Seneca Award for Teaching Excellence and the Seneca Award for Teaching Excellence in Flexible Delivery.

Full details about the two peer-nominated awards, including who is eligible and what should be included in the nomination package, are available on the Seneca's Teaching and Learning Awards for Faculty page.

Why Nominate a Colleague?

Acknowledge their impact: Your colleague’s innovative teaching practices, commitment to student success, and collaborative spirit deserve recognition. By nominating them, you highlight their hard work and dedication, showcasing how they enrich the learning environment and inspire others within our community.

Boost morale and motivation: Recognition can significantly boost morale. Nominating a deserving colleague not only honors their achievements but also encourages them to continue striving for excellence. It sends a powerful message that their efforts are valued and appreciated by their peers.

Foster a culture of excellence: Celebrating outstanding teaching practices fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. By highlighting exemplary work, you set a benchmark for others, encouraging a collective aspiration towards higher standards of teaching and learning.
