"Finding, Using, and Creating Open Content" from Teaching & Learning Day Winter 2022 on Monday, February 28, 2022
Facilitated by Kevin and Jennifer (Teaching & Learning Centre at Seneca), plus guests
You may have heard about eCampusOntario’s Open Library, or MIT’s OpenCourseWare, or any one of a myriad of open initiatives, and wondered how to find, use, and/or create open content.
Come join the growing list of educators doing just that. In this session, we’ll explore the essentials of “openness,” find out about open content initiatives at other colleges across Ontario, and see how our colleagues at Seneca are integrating open educational resources (OER) into their courses for the benefit of their students.
This session will also be practical. We’ll introduce some free and open tools that you can use to create your own OER.
