Seneca Polytechnic’s VR Lab is equipped with Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 VR headsets and provides customizable stations for seated or standing VR experiences.

Who Can Use the VR Lab?

All VR lab users must participate in orientation and sign a User Safety Agreement before using the lab for the first time. 

Classes

  • Faculty can bring classes for dedicated VR learning experiences.

  • Up to 12 students plus an instructor at a time.

Students

  • Students can book extra practice time in an open lab.

  • Must be enrolled in a course that is using VR.

  • Up to 12 students at a time.

How to Book?

The VR Lab can be booked by faculty for class sessions through teaching@senecapolytechnic.ca with the subject line “VR Lab Booking”.

Open practice sessions are organized for students at the request of a faculty member. Faculty will be given a direct booking link to share with their students to book time in a scheduled open practice session.
