Curriculum Integration and Seneca's Strategic Plan - The Next

The Next - Seneca College Strategic Plan

Curriculum Integration and Seneca's Strategic Plan - The Next

The Curriculum Renewal and Enhancement Initiative, led by the Teaching & Learning Centre and Program Quality, is providing ongoing support to faculty in reviewing and enhancing curriculum to support student achievement of Seneca Polytechnic priority principles including Truth and Reconciliation, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and Sustainability for success post-graduation.

It will be a continuous effort to revise and refine curricula.

How this Project Aligns to Seneca's Strategic Plan - The Next

The Next is a multi-year road map that sets Seneca on a distinct path.

We have a shared responsibility to engage students in relevant and authentic learning experiences and to help them become ready for a meaningful career and a fulfilling life of community and citizenship beyond graduation.

This involves:

  • working with faculty across the broad range of programs to invite multiple perspectives;
  • helping students become engaged citizens and active participants in building strong, vibrant communities that foster tolerance, diversity in all forms, and respect;
  • expanding quality assurance practices such as the curriculum review to incorporate reconciliation, equity, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability as a reflection of these core values and principles in the student experience.
