What is MyTutor?
MyTutor is a chatbot developed by Seneca ITS to enhance student engagement by allowing them to interact with course materials in a conversational format.
How do I request access to MyTutor for my course and how long does it take to get access after submitting the form?
Make a request for access to MyTutor in your course by submitting the My Tutor - Course Request Form. Once the form is submitted, course registration typically takes 2–4 business days. You’ll receive an email with instructions once setup is complete.
How does MyTutor work?
Students can “chat” with the course materials you upload. My Tutor uses only those materials to generate responses, ensuring privacy and relevance.
Can My Tutor respond in languages other than English?
Yes, MyTutor supports multiple languages, making it accessible to a diverse student population.
Is student data shared outside Seneca?
No. All interactions are private and confined within Seneca’s systems. Only usage statistics are collected to improve the service.
Can instructors see what students ask My Tutor?
