This reflection provides an opportunity to pause and revisit the highlights, rewards, and experiences of your teaching journey this year. You are encouraged to consider your growth as an educator by exploring questions aligned with Seneca’s Standards of Practice for faculty. The guiding questions below are designed to inspire thoughtful reflection on your classroom experiences, helping you recognize your strengths and how you might build on them in the future.

As you reflect on these prompts, you may wish to record your thoughts using the Teaching Reflection template or in a format of your choice.
As you think about your teaching experiences this past year, what stands out to you? In this first section, think about what effective teaching means to you, and what it might mean to your students. Then, note some overall thoughts about what is on your mind right now.
