Respondus LockDown Browser + Monitor

Important Respondus Notice

Seneca Polytechnic has reached its Respondus Monitor license capacity. No additional licenses are available.

  • If students have not yet registered for Respondus Monitor, instructors should remove Respondus Monitor from their test to allow those students to complete it.
  • If an assessment has already begun and some students are still unregistered for Respondus Monitor, please recreate the assessment and apply release conditions specifically for those students.

To consider alternatives and request support on assessment solutions, reach out to the Teaching and Learning Centre (teaching@senecapolytechnic.ca).

Please note that while Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor integrates with Blackboard Ultra, and can help deter academic integrity infractions, the software is not foolproof. Respondus will not eliminate all possibilities of academic integrity violations, nor does it guarantee accessibility. Please consider alternative assessments to maintain the integrity and accessibility of online assessments.
