The Fire Alarm Systems Lab simulations recreate the full suite of lab activities for the FAS390 Fire Alarm Systems – Design course, providing online students with remote access to authentic hands-on training. Using responsive and high-fidelity digital replicas of equipment at Newnham campus, students learn to inspect, validate, and troubleshoot a variety of fire alarm systems. By manipulating digital tools such as screwdrivers, multimeters, smoke spray canisters, and other detectors, students can activate, observe, and hear fire panel responses under normal and trouble conditions. Developed for the Fire Protection Technician and Fire Protection Engineering Technology diploma programs, each virtual activity aligns with one lab exercise in the FAS390 lab manual.

Supported Platforms: VR and Desktop
